September Foodie Penpals!

Hey guys!

It’s Foodie Penpal reveal time again! This month was SO exciting for me because I actually got paired with a fellow Paleo eater! How freaking awesome is that!? My package came from Kelsey all the way in California. We both about died when we figured out that we were both cavewomen, and I could honestly not have asked for a better penpal!  Like me, Kelsey has a major sweet tooth, so she included some of her favorite paleo treats in my package. Let’s take a closer look shall we?

First off, Kelsey works at a coffee shop, so she sent me one of the shops blends.  The flavor is so unique! Can you read that? Key Lime and Caramel. I haven’t tried it yet, but the bag smells absolutely heavenly!

Next up was this Gone Nuts fruit and nut clusters. YOU GUYS. This stuff is AMAZING! I’ve already been on the lookout for it in the local health stores because I need more immediately. It has dark cacao covered almond, blueberry, and  raisin, and coconut clusters. Ummm. Yeah, enough said right there. I literally finished this bag so quickly. It was the perfect roadtrip snack for my trip to Nashville this weekend!

Paleo Brownie Bomb? YES PLEASE. No further explanation needed.

I haven’t had the chance to try this next one yet, either.  But I am so excited about it because it seems like a great granola substitute! I used to love granola before going paleo.  I love having a little crunch!  This sunflower seed substitute just may be my fix!

Last but not least was this Enjoy Life Dark Chocolate bar. I love love love dark chocolate, so obviously I was diggin’ this.  There is nothing more satisfying than a good, simple piece of dark chocolate.  Good call Kelsey!

Once again I had an AMAZING Foodie Penpal experience, and encourage you to join if you haven’t already! It’s such a fun program and it is awesome to connect with people from all over the country who share a common love for good, healthy food!

To join in on the fun next month, check out these deets!

-On the 5th of every month, you will receive your penpal pairing via email. It will be your responsibility to contact your penpal and get their mailing address and any other information you might need like allergies or dietary restrictions. -You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your penpal! -The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treats! The spending limit is $15. The box must also include something written. This can be anything from a note explaining what’s in the box, to a fun recipe…use your imagination! -You are responsible for figuring out the best way to ship your items depending on their size and how fragile they are. (Don’t forget about flat rate boxes!) -Foodie Penpals is open to blog readers as well as bloggers. If you’re a reader and you get paired with a blogger, you are to write a short guest post for your penpal to post on their blog about what you received. If two readers are paired together, neither needs to worry about writing a post for that month. -Foodie Penplas is open to US & Canadian residents.  Please note, Canadian Residents will be paired with other Canadians only. We’ve determined things might get too slow and backed up if we’re trying to send foods through customs across the border from US to Canada and vice versa.

If you’re interested in participating for September, please CLICK HERE to fill out the participation form and read the terms and conditions.

You must submit your information by October 4th as pairings will be emailed on October 5th!
